En 2010, on avait écarté Kafue et Mana Pools de notre itinéraire à cause de leur éloignement par rapport au Hwange NP. C’est donc l’occasion de concevoir un parcours entre la Zambie et le Zimbabwe, qui nous conduirait jusqu’à ces deux parcs.

Et puis, une autre idée nous est venue d’on ne sait où (!) : consacrer quelques jours à la découverte en canoé du Zambèze traçant une frontière naturelle entre les deux pays.

Les grandes étapes sont posées, il faut maintenant chercher un vol, trouver une voiture et compléter l’itinéraire !
