Et il y en a un qui nous a particulièrement marqué. C’était l’histoire d’une troupe de lions et d’un troupeau de buffles qui s’affrontaient dans un endroit époustouflant, au cœur d’un étrange delta qui n’avait jamais trouvé la mer, et où la vie sauvage battait son plein.

On s’était dit : « un jour, on ira là-bas … »

Et ce jour est arrivé ! Là-bas, c’est au Botswana, un pays qui abrite une faune extraordinaire dans des parcs nationaux immenses où le voyage en 4×4 et camping est presque une institution.

C’est donc décidé, c’est là qu’on va et c’est de cette manière que nous voyagerons. On a 1 an devant nous pour tout organiser et en savoir un peu plus sur le pays, les animaux, le camping, la conduite en 4×4 dans le sable et dans l’eau  …

Mais le Botswana offre encore de bonnes opportunités de les rencontrer, notamment au Parc National de Chobe, dans les environs d’Ihaha.
