Depuis quelques semaines, Planète Urgence propose de participer à un nouveau projet au Hwange National Park, consacré à l’étude des léopards, dans la région de Main Camp.

La formule Brousse + Gros chat + Hwange n’a pas mis longtemps à nous convaincre de repartir très vite au Zimbabwe.

Nous sommes en juin et notre mission, la 3e de la saison, est prévue en septembre. Les préparatifs seront assez simples, l’opération la plus difficile étant de réfléchir à ce que nous pourrions faire à l’issue de la mission afin de profiter de la région quelques jours de plus.

Responsable du Département d’Actions Rapides sur le Terrain (D.A.R.T) au Zimbabwe, Paul de Montille et son équipe d’intervention spécial ont 15 jours pour mener à bien leur mission et sauver les léopards du danger qui les menace.
