Ces grands singes vivent exclusivement dans une petite région de l’Afrique centrale partagée entre la République Démocratique du Congo, l’Ouganda et le Rwanda.

En raison de la situation difficile que vit le Congo actuellement, notre voyage sera tourné vers l’Ouganda, où nous souhaitons aussi découvrir Murchison Falls, rencontrer les chimpanzés de Kibale et de Ngamba, observer les lions dans les arbres du Queen Elisabeth, puis vers le Rwanda que nous avons envie de traverser jusqu’à l’Akagera.

Alors qu’on commence à peine à s’intéresser au contexte de notre voyage, on ressent déjà l’histoire complexe de cette région d’Afrique qui va nous émouvoir et nous passionner durant tous nos préparatifs, et bien au delà …
